Hi, I’m Brittany — Welcome to LightWork

I’m a wife to Mike (Director of Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Atlanta), a mom of three (ages 9, 13, and 16), a theater director, and a woman called to build spaces where creativity and faith collide.

I’m the founder of a Christ-centered performing arts company that reaches over 400 students—and every day, I get to witness the power of young people finding their voice through the arts.

I hold a master’s degree in playwriting and a bachelor’s degree in acting. But more than credentials, I’m just a woman learning to walk in God’s grace while juggling motherhood, creative calling, business, and the backstage beauty of life.

Why I Started LightWork

I created LightWork because I needed a place where all of me could live—wife, mom, director, writer, believer. A place where I could be honest about show week chaos, creative burnout, answered prayers, and family rhythms that feel sacred (even when they’re messy).

LightWork is about walking faithfully in our calling, even when we don’t feel “ready.” It’s about letting our light shine—not for applause, but for His glory.
